I am an active member of the Data Communication industry for many years. My professional career started in wireless communication field, worked on CT2, DECT, GSM and CDMA technologies back then. In year 2000, my work shifted to computer networking and has been in this field ever since for 20 years, from line card micro-code to full-fledged network OS, from embedded data plane to network virtualization, from siloed enterprise, service provider and cloud solutions to the emerging converged Compute-Storage-Networking design. It is the worst time for the industry now as we are hitting limits everywhere, but it’s also the best time to out-done ourselves and open new opportunities for generations to come.

It is so exciting to see the fast pacing progress in the digital transformation, AI and automation, It’s more exciting for me to learn and study the challenges and opportunities posed on the data communication infrastructure. That’s why I started this personal blog, intend to collect and publicly share my experiences, reflections and thoughts.
